Is the Yankees gaining on the Sox?This is a featured page

Question: Look here. The Yankees have won four straight since their record of 24-31 behind the Boston Sox 36-19. But now, led by Rodriguez, the Yanks increased their streak to 4 and now owns a 28-31 record while Boston's standings is 38-21. Could this be a big improvement for the Yanks, who are now only 10 games behind the Red Sox?

  • Well, since the Yanks wiped out Chicago pretty easily in their series (W3L1), I'm not surprised. Also, the Yankees-Sox series earlier this season proved Yankees pretty much tops the Red Sox, depsite of the standings.
  • Pittsburgh doesnt seem that powerful compared to last season, but so is the Yanks. So far Yankees lead 1-0 in their series but I'm sure Yanks will have 30+ standing after this series.
